My name is Shawnie Turner. The most important thing you can know about me is that I'm a Christian. God has completely changed my life for the better and I am proud to say that I have a relationship with his son, Jesus Christ.

I volunteer in the children's ministry at our church and I am constantly amazed at how much faith and creativity kids can be full of. It is inspiring.

If I had a life verse I would want it to be Psalm 139. This chapter of the bible has many different segments that pertain to many different moments in life, yet it carries one beautiful message as a whole.

There are two dreams that I feel passionate about more than any others. One, I've had for a while; the other is new.

My first dream is to be a New York Times Best selling author. I never feel closer to myself and to God than when I write.

My second dream is to learn Korean fluently and to travel to Korea. I think that the Korean language is beautiful and their culture is fascinating.

Recently I have also discovered that I really like to paint, something that I never though I would come even close to doing. We'll see where that goes.
